My wrists are badly affected now so I have problems using a mouse. Access to Work recommended a Humanscale ergonomic mouse which I find impossible to use. I find using either mouse painful and uncomfortable.

I desperately need a mouse or trackball for work so I thought rather than mess about and waste more money I'd come straight to the experts.

Can anyone recommend a mouse or trackball for a right-hander with limited mobility in the knuckles, index/middle fingers and wrist? I do a lot of spreadsheet work so need something quick, light and accurate.

Thanks a million Smile

Likewise. I find using a mouse for any length of time causes my fingers to stiffen and I've just had 2 days barely able to use my right hand because I spent too long on the computer on Monday - silly me.

Hi there;

sorry just caught up with this post.

I use a Logitech Trackman Wheel; I find it very comfortable to use.

Hiya, I use a rollerball mouse in work which is great, it has really helped. I looked at it today to get the name of it and now cant remember it, moral of the story, write things down!

Hope you get sorted.

hi

we have one that looks like this

logi tec mouse

it is great.

Also, when replacing the PC- consider a light weight laptop. Mine is an acer aspire 481oTz

Jenni Good idea light weight, i am now on my 3rd lap top minus 1 key cover a crack in the on off switch and this is just oner a year old, carrying my lap top has been a nightmare, mind it didnt help that i was on crutches and non weight baring for 5mths lol.

I am thinking ...... maybe i should do away with the laptop and go back to sitting in front of a desk.
